growing up with monks, he really did have to count his vices. the acceptable amount were exactly none. selflessness was a religion, mind clarity a lifestyle. to this day, minjae doesn't understand how a child such hot-headed as him lasted ten years in the monastery.
it was to no one's surprised when he bowed to the whole community, a sign for departure. it was a form of apology, yes. but it was also grateful. it really did take a village to raise a child and little minjae was well cared for. he liked all of them, he was just not like them. he's a lot more mature now. although still hot headed, still a little firecracker that could go off any minute, he has mastered his bending to a respectable amount. he likes to think, perhaps, the monks would be proud of him too.
